What do Lutherans believe? The summary of what we believe the Bible teaches us is found in a book called The Book of Concord. Fully published in 1580 (34 years after the death of Martin Luther), The Book of Concord contains several items:

  • The Apology of the Augsburg Confession

  • The Smalcald Articles

  • The Treatise on the Power and Primacy of the Pope
